It is so hard to believe that my 1st born beautiful girl is about to graduate from High School! It seems like it was me just graduating. I can’t even begin to tell you how proud that I am of her. She is all and so much more of what I had dreamed her to be. The future is so bright for her and I can not wait to see where God leads her. Kyla LOVES our Lord and wants everyone to know what that LOVE is like. One of my favorite images is the last one you will see below, I call it “My little Evangelist”. It truly captures her spirit and life. She is so incredibly beautiful inside and out! A treasure beyond measure! Kyla is so passionate, full of life, enthusiasm, wit, wisdom and ideas. We are so proud of you Kyla. You are turning into a Masterpiece, an exquisite work of God. We want everyone to know that you are our Baby!

I had the awesome pleasure of photographing one of the cutest little girls of North Carolina again.  She is such a cutie with the most gorgeous blue eyes.  Her mother just adores her and  Miss ‘M’ is her mother’s little  ‘Minnie Me’.   On this day, Miss ‘M’ was tired and made me work really really hard for her smiles.  Her parents can confirm that as they watched me playing a fool on the ground.  You do whatcha gotta do.    Our session was also cut short due to a very bad storm that rolled in but we got some great stuff regardless.

Brittany is a girl with great conviction.  She has a heart for missions in South America and has traveled abroad on several mission trips.  Her sense of adventure and courage inspires me and many others.  My daughter, Kyla and Brittany became close friends quickly when we first moved here and they both serve as a fire to refine the other.  They push, stretch and challenge one another in their faith and walk with the Lord.  Brittany helps lead the school’s Bible study along side Kyla.  I could not be more proud of them both.  I thank God for Brittany.  I am so glad that you are in our lives.  And you will always be a part of us.

I like how this one turned out.  Sometimes when you get lemons, as in too much exposure, you need to make some lemonade.  This is some great lemonade.

Brittany- You are a beauty beyond measure, inside and out. You have a gift of beauty, not just on the outside, I know that you feel that your looks can get in the way at times but it is a gift that can be used to do His work.  People will draw near you and then you can touch their hearts.  Thank God for your gift.  :D

It brings me such JOY to know that this PRECIOUS Baby is my namesake.  And her mother’s too.  :D  I love her sweet mother, she is like the little sister that I never had and she says that I am like her Big Sis too.  So sweet.  I thank God upon every remembrance of these two.  LOVE them!!!  Here are some of my favorite images from their recent visit.
