This is a couple that is very dear to us. It is my husband’s mother and a wonderful man named Dave. They have started a journey in their lives that include loving one another. Each having lost their 1st loves over 5 years ago, they both have been extremely blessed in finding one another. Dave has become apart of our family and we feel so privileged to know him. He is very easy going and so down to earth. Such a good compliment and companion to Sue. I had the pleasure of taking some images of them recently and here are my favorite three.

Begin the NEW Year with a New look. Let’s face it, with the economy the way it is today, you need to be on top of your game. Caroline and Will recently tied the knot on beautiful Hilton Head Island. Their Wedding was a Destination Wedding as they came in from Boston, Massachusetts to wed in the perfect coastal setting. I had to view their wedding the same as you because I was not able to make it that day due to a severe allergic reaction that I was battling following my trip to Belize. I had a super sweet guy that is a kick butt photographer ready to take the lead just in such a case. Thanks so much Jarrad Lister for taking such great care of Caroline and Will. Brad and Kate live in Columbus Ohio but chose the beautiful Hilton Head Island for their Destination Wedding. The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa sits in the back of the lush green Port Royal Plantation. Brad & Kate have spent many years vacationing on Hilton Head and it is near and dear to their hearts.

The flowers were out of this world! They were designed by ever talented Flowers by Sue. Enough can not be said, they were perfect!



When I was first told about Brad and Kate’s plans for their Wedding, I was told to just think of Lily Pulitzer. I think that was a good description but I have to say that they did Pink and Green even better than Lily.



Kate’s dress was simply elegant. Love the lines and flow of it. There is a BEAUTIFUL story that goes along with it. The story is a bit sad but so sweet. If Kate wants to share, I will leave that up to her. I know that it was a heartwarming story.



Kate’s mother, Pam and her two sisters, Nicole and Emily, were great with helping Kate get ready. They were all so sweet! Kate, you have a wonderful family!

I love when the couple meets prior to the ceremony. It gives them such an intimate time to take it all in. They get to take a few minutes to laugh, cry, whisper, admire… Just the two of them.

Time for the ceremony! See the bounce in their step! ; )

The ceremony was set for the beach but had to be moved in due to the rain and approaching storm. Kate did not let it bring her down. She looked radiant!

The gazebo was a perfect location for their vows.



After the ceremony, we were able to dodge the rain and grab a few images of Brad and Kate, the new Mr. and Mrs., on the beach that they love. Love them!

The reception started out with a BANG!!! Brad and Kate had a dance that stunned the guests. They jammed, no belly rubbing here. Their dance even included the shuffle. I HIGHLY recommend to Brides and Grooms to make this dance your own. Brad and Kate did just that and brought the “House Down”!!!



Brad and Kate were not the only ones keeping the dance floor rockin’! Here are some more shots of everyone enjoying themselves.
